Christmas decorated house

I started off with the paperartsy house and painted this with fresco paints.

I then created some back backgrounds using various stamps and made a roof with corregated card.

After sticking these in the house i grunge pasted the sides of the house with some holly.

I then started to decorate each box with various christmas items and the tim holtz lantern.

Hope you all like how it turned out.

Now to funish off my christmas cards!

Umbrella man canvas

This is my 2nd attempt at a canvas using the Tim Holtz umbrella man die.

My first go was for the artyinklings September challenge.

Unfortunately on my second attempt I did not do photos as I went and only have a nearly completed canvas and the final photo.

I started by painting the background with fresco paints. Then I applied grunge paste to bottom of the image for a path. This was mixed with stone colour paint.

Next I stamped various flourishes and shapes to the background with black, orange and whites colours.

Next I created my clouds and sign which along with my path and man were all stamped and coloured.

After this i outlined the images in black and some with white also. Then I applied some grunge paste using a stencil to make lines at the top to look llike rain.

I was pleased with how this turned out :-)

Birthday card

This is a birthday card I made.

First off I stamped some images onto the card.

The next step i joined some flowers together with a couple of leaves and some flourish shapes.

I next created a heart with wings using a Tim Holtz die. I coloured this to match the tag.

This was then placed on the card and i also applied some Tim Holtz vintage photo around the card.

Crimble challenge

This is my entry for the Crimble challenge at Arty Inklings.

I started by stamping some Christmas words onto some crackly tissue paper then glued these onto my canvas board.

A coat of gesso was the applied to tone down the colour of the words.  Then with red, green and blue fresco paints i covered the board with different stencil designs.

Next I glued my tree dedesign to the board.

Finally i stamped more images and outlined the tree, added a gold star and toned all these down with some snow flake paint.
